I guess its fine in Rallywoods as long as it has a rated recovery point front and rear, I'm assuming your mate carrys all the other usual gear? (fire extingisher/first aid kit/strop)...., has it got a low range box and 4wd?

you dont generally need a whinch because all the tracks are really short and can get away with stroping easy, unless your going to the accas? but i would say the 16m should be good unless its easy to swap over because its allways better too long than too short
