Great weekend. Really enjoyed watching everyone break, dent and thrash their trucks. As usual, turoas truck performed amazingly well, rode shotgun in Mr O's awesome little truck for a bit (not sure if little is the right word, maybe short). got to see jafas truck perform circus acts as well (although it seems I missed the main event, also got some good pics and vids off turoas camera which ill post up this week). Got to catchup with richard (bullet proof) again and see his truck and driving skills in action again. Good to see the costa crew down and meet the 4wd action dude.

I don't think we need to talk about the incredible high speed motorbike injuries I have

Cheers to everyone who turned up, was one of those epic weekends, highlight for me was watching Jafa do a backflip halfway up hells bells, then land the right way up and then drive back down normally (bugger left my camera back in the shiny when this happened sorry)

When will I EVER learn....... I keep coming to these trips, and forget to bring my EAR PLUGS!!!! Having spent yet another night listening to Jerry snore like a freight train, I have made a mental note to myself that toilet paper in ears will not suffice, and I MUST remember my ear plugs next time..... or kick Jerry out of hut to sleep in his truck!!!

Was fun to catch up with everyone again though. Has been a while I have to say! But in saying that, nothing has changed, you are all still just little kids in grown up bodies! The aerosol can incident being the proof of that!!!

came up too late on sat morning to head into akas with the fellas looks like i missed a awesome trip ...
left that night planning on coming back in bright and early in the morning but yet again i missed the boat waiting for a new guy to take him up and have a play in rallywoods ...

turned out to be a very short play as he broke his steering arm 2 min into the first track ( next time ill remeber to explain hitting something with pace means at a med momentum not nascar pace lol ) jumped on the prs and withing min we had jerry and reece there to check that damage and pointed us in the direction of turoa for spare parts ,,,,
on the trip back with spares in hand i lost all my air in my left front had to do a quick change on the side of a track and we were back in action ..
only to get to the surf and see jerry and reece hard at it already pulling the broken surf bits off . withing a few min we had it back up and running to head back home .
even after the 5min expidition we had he was blown away with all the help and hospitality the ore guys have , and is keen for more ( this time with spares )

so a HUGE thank you goes out to turoa for the parts and reece and jerry for hanging around after a looong weekend
ill get him to bring the beers next time he comes up
thats my two cents worth though...

how did the trucks stack up compared to the cost trips you do Richard?
