Rallywoods Track Maintenance 29/30 Aug

Post by skid »

Well I got rather enthused after last weekend and so the enthusiasm doesn't waver, I have decided to go back and tidy up some tracks that are causing problems and open up unused tracks to alleviate the pressure on the main tracks that everyone uses and are getting overused and ruined.

the little kink at the top of Imagination is going

the part of cruiser drive that gave me a black eye is going to be looked at

want to find old unused tracks and re-open them

THIS IS A TRACK MAINTENANCE WEEKEND

It shouldn't cost anything to be there or stay sat night, because we are doing maintenance and you will probably get credits

If you want to drive, then don't bother turning up, the only driving will be to get to the areas we are working and up the tracks once they are cleared

this weekend is aimed at the workers, not the shirkers

so if you want to continue using Rallywoods and would like to assist with the opening of new tracks to ease the pressure on other tracks then turn up and be prepared to put in a full day on Saturday and a good half day on the Sunday.

I will be at the corner of Moonshine Road at 8.45am and will be leaving for RW at 9.15am on Saturday morning.

BYO every possible tool

Chainsaws
Loppers
Machetes
Hand Saws
Shovels
Anything else you may think of

and if someone has a scrub bar, that would be good, coz the walkway from the hut to the airstrip needs the cutting grass cleared back

Cheers
