gallery creation

Hi All,

Well its been a marathon effort but I'm pretty sure the 30k of photos are sitting somewhere in the galleries now and linked to your accounts. I just wanted to make sure they were "settled" before I allowed the creation of new ones. I've added links to the supporters menus to allow creation of galleries and photos.

Its a simply task to create a gallery. make sure you have a flash plugin installed.

Hit create gallery, enter a title and optional description. click save. that takes you to a blank gallery. Once in there on the bottom right hand corner is add photo button. click on that. this takes you to an add photos page. next you will see a little icon to the left. click that opens a dialog box where you can shift or ctrl select multiple images. click ok. then click save at the bottom. these will start uploading. once they have all uploaded click the next step, enter descriptions and hit save.

should be all done.

Just added some pics of the Gary River trip from a cpl of weeks ago.....but am having trouble posting them onto the thread of the trip for others to see....keeps saying "cant determine the size of the pics for some reason.

I will add a link to the photo that will display in forums beside each photo in the gallery. then all you have to do is right mouse -> copy link location and paste that in the forum and wollah it should work nice and easy!

hi mike,awsum work,how do i delete photos tho,some of the pics are fom when i first joined so still show number plate etc which id prefer to remove but cant find a delete option,or am i just being a dick and not looking hard enough?cheers

if you click on the title of the photo it will take you to the actual photo node. then you can click the edit tab at the top and it will delete the offending photo.

Are you saying you used to have more albums? or there are more there than you thought. ie you have three at the moment under your name is this right?
