went playing in a couple of maize fields for an upcoming event/gymkhana. Just testing the ground, sorting out event locations... and "assisting with drainage" at high revs accompanied with roosters.
Spent a few hours cleaning afterward.

Was supposed to be working at a working bee today building a rock climbing area just off the winch challenge track at the new private 4x4 park but son broke the fuel return line on the GQ when he was trying to fix an injector that had worked its way loose so, had a well deserved sleep in.He has just fired up the GQ after replacing the bits.

Looks like a good trip, wanted to go but couldn't get away. Spent my spare time over the week end starting to trim the rear quarter panals, mostly done just need to do the welding. Hope to do that tomorrow.

Replaced front panhard bushes, straightened drag link, cleaned electric window contacts, gave it a birthday by cleaning the inside out, first time in two years. Pulled all the bungs out and got the hose in there. Plenty of mud came out. All clean now, ready for the next trip. Even put armour all on the dash etc.
