Not yet, its down at a mates place getting bracket made up for A-Frame. Felt a bit lost today without it :( Then sort alternator and I`m done - let me know if any one has a spare 12V alternator suitable for an FJ40 lying around.

I`ve got to get drive shafts etc first too.

are the alternators the same from the bj to the fj? i have a spare with the vacuum thingy on the back, yeah? if so, i got one fer ya.. gimme a holla if keen... :P

I dont think so. Is your BJ 24V?

I`ve got a BJ41 sitting in the paddock but was told the alternator would not suit my 12V FJ40 system - let me know if thats not true.

Thanks for the offer to.

should say on the alternator housing whether its 12 or 24 volts. If it is then you should be able to use it.
