Having a bit of a fleet shuffle and the mighty old hilux is on the chop list.
Rusty ol thing, not gona be road legal again without a full resto, its 4wd has a 21R petrol motor(think its about a 2L), single cab. Motor is really hard to start and fuel pump is leaking. has a front bar, but need bolts dug out on one side as they are snapped (I was just gona weld it back on, but could be moved to a new hilux atm).
Its Left hand Drive, and reg on hold, and have the papers from when orginally brought in to say you can drive it on the road left hand drive. I have been told it was ex antartic truck, but nothing to prove or disprove this.
It would be great to see it being used again, rather than the wreckers get there hands on it. perfect project for something different, or stuff to keep you one going
would like to keep the wheels on it, but they are negotable seperatlly, they are 33's muds on front and 33' almost Bald AT on the back.
After about a grand without wheels, its in Buysell this weekend as well.
