New Layout

Can we go widescreen? Im sure most people do now and there is so much space wasted....

And it means in PM's you cannot scroll left to right you can't get all the message, its simply not there as there is all the stuff down the right hand side. Which incidently is good, but it all very cramped.

But new layout as a whole is outstanding, easy to navigate and looks good to boot.

its the signitures in pm's that is killing it. I will disable those and this will fix that issue. also 800x600 pics are a very very tight sqeeze at the moment which i need to address.

keep bringing things up and I will address them.

I have already taken the site to widescreen as you say for 1024 wide. normally its 800. I think I may give users the option for wide screen monitors down the track. ie in your profile you can turn widescreen on and off and the site alters accordingly. this is dynamic and introduces a level of new functionality and work. I would like to do it though so I may surprise everyone one day

Thanks Mike, I don't know if you can see of not as a mod but my latest PM has a couple of pics in it and I'd say that is the prob. There is no signatures in the message. Have a look if you want.

I have over 1/3rd of my screen (say 1/6th each side) taken up with blank blue screen when a page is open.

yeah its the pics that do it. saddams pic came through and bam was right of the end. of course i didnt have these pm's when i was building it

yeah i will make the wide screen version standard widesreen. hell i might as well go three options 1920 HD!!! 1140 and 1024

Now that would be a challenge!!

I think I'll start that after some of the other stuff ive got going on ore (one big thing and a couple of little things)
