terrano dash removal

Post by grytvikken »

Hi i have a 1990 d 21 terrano with an ugly interior and i haveoften wondered what would be involved in taking out the dash. A mechanic told me ages ago that the dash's on terrano's and pathfinders were easy to remove. is this the case and if so are there any tips that someone who has done it pass on.
cheers

that should only require the removal of the steering column surround,(4-6 screws)the piece under the the cluster(2 screws),then the black trim piece(2 or 4),then the cluster itself (4)

should only take a matter of about 10 minutes if that.

good luck.

One trick to look out for it you need to remove a panel by the base of the windscreen to gte at a few screws. A terrano dash is heaps easier than a Safari dash to get out!
Nissan Terrano coilovers, turboed VH45, Safari axles, and some other stuff.
