toyota 3y carb rebuild kit

hi i need to rebuild my 3y carb so went in to bnt and they didnt sell them so had to go to ripco and they lived up to their name. the cost for a rebuild kit was $200 so thought id ask on here, so... does anyone know where i can get a carb kit for a 3y motor that isnt going to cost me the earth. hope someone can help thanks.

Did you try Toyota. Sometimes they surprise with a reasonable price. What about partmaster or supercheap?

hey nope not even tryed to start it yet as i knew the carb needed a rebuild to get things going, and nope i still need the main fuel line to the solonoid then a little wireing but i will get all the other little bits n pieces sorted first.

i hate asking toyota for prices as they mostly give me a heart attack with the prices they tell me, but as you say sometimes they will get something with the right price. as for supacrap the nearest one of those is about an hour away from where i live so a bit far really but will give them a call to compare prices.
