Re: Skids Engine / snorkle fund

the first I heard of this was a text a couple of days ago
as soon as I had the oppurtunity to have a look, I did and was just speechless, so much so that I just couldnt think of anything to say at the time
I am still lost for words really...................
a lot of you have never met me, yet you are being generous
a few of you I have upset on the forum in the past when I wasnt thinking about my posting
some of you have been in the same boat (no pun intended) as me and have had no help
some of you have no job, therefore no income
I could go on forever writing a big sob story etc etc etc
quite simply I just cannot find the words other than a really fukn big.................
THANK YOU
from the bottom of my heart and depths beyond that
I will never forget the generosity of the 4wd community in this situation, and even if I may never know exactly who has contributed, I will be there to help you all in the future where possible

Re: Skids Engine / snorkle fund
dropped off $560 in donations to skid today. He was a very happy man. Apparently with it he's getting the head cryo'ed , double valve springs, chromed rocker cover, chromed air cleaner (apperently he doesnt need a snorkle as he is never going near water again) and a flash as bonnet scoop! Should put diesel boys bling builds to shame

If he is no good at 4 wheel driving he might as well have a show truck to sit in the middle of wellington with its bonnet up. He could sit in it eyeing the birds

Done (late as always
) - donations still rolling in Mike
Looking forward to watching the rebuild thread - I'm sure Jerry will make sure there are heaps of pics
I've only ever met Skid once in person (passing through at the trials) but he seamed like a really good guy - quick to help others in need so here is a favor returned.
Skid, you dont have alot of hair mate so whats with the pink hair ties???
