WTD: 24V Warn 8274

Post by nz4x4 »

Wanted: 24volt Warn 8274 (or 8274-50), must be in good working condition and must not be missing anything (ie, remote etc). Modifications such as higher HP motor etc are acceptable and preferable. I do not need wire rope or roller fairlead.

and the killer blow, it has to be under $1200

I do remember seeing a twin motor 8274 on that wide Jeep that used to do the winch challenges (and saw on tradme not long ago).

sorry for the thread hijack

Mudchucka on here has one, well I think he stilll has it for sale, I'm sure it was a 24 volt one & he wanted $850.

No doubt he'll check this tonight.

That twin engine'd 8274 is now on a Lexus Prado and it is extremely technical. Has twin 8 hp motors on it and is super fast. Full of sloinoids, only powers out on one motor to prevent any binding, then has an inbuilt timer delay before the solinoid kicks it bcak into gear (to allow for the wind down).
SWB V6 Paj with one or two mods ;)
