I have just bought a 93 terrano r3m and i want to raise it 4 inches. would a 2inch lift kit and 2 inch body lift be the best cheapest and easiest?
its a v6 if that matters

Wind ya torsions up 2inchs front and get 2inch lift springs rear, also probably need longer shocks.fella trading under the name stainless5 on trademe does a good deal on lifted springs and Raw Nitro shocks.Wheel Alignment shop should be able to do ya torsions for ya.

Isn't there issues with the upper control arms though? I had heard that you have to strip them of paint and have the x-rayed before they can be certified.

I was talking to my certifier about this and it has to be TIG welded etc. If the welder is known to the certier then normally they can pass it based upon that without the need for testing. But it is such a grey area.

I've got a mate that has put this on his terrano, certiifed with no problems. Alot of terrano owners just get the idler arm brace as this is their weakest link when lifting and running larger tyres.
