80 Series Landcruiser - Drivers Seat Belt wanted

Hi All,

Anybody out there wrecking an 80 series and have a grey Drivers Seat belt they want to sell???

I need one to pass a warrant so keen to locate soon if possible.

If not I'll have to get a new aftermarket one as toyota wanted $1,000 for one

I had this problem in mine and rather then fork out megabucks for another belt (mine was passenger side) I simply replaced it with one from the 3rd row seats.

They are a slightly different type but it passed a warrent...

No use of course if someone has removed the rear seats - I had my seats out but still had the seatbelts on so failed on that plus a slightly frayed passenger belt.

So when I took the 3rd row belts out I switched them over to the passenger side and it passed a WOF.

I rang quite a few places and couldn't get a original belt...

You can get them professionally stictched back up. think it's around $120 but a lot less dicking around trying to find another

I've gone for a factory belt which should be an easy replace. Took alot of seaching but got there in the end.
