Installing front LOKKA

Ive just installed my rear LSD, now ive got a lockright Lokka to put in the front of my ln61 ifs surf.

Ive got information off the net as to how to put them in the rear, but after tips for the front.

basically the same thing as the rear, pull it out, open it up and follow ya nose.

i just pulled the diff head out when i had a surf and then you can chuck it on the bench and get it right.

whats the easiest way to take axles out?

im not much good with step by step instructions, but just follow your nose, hardest part would be seperating the bottom joints which are just like any other where you smack them on the side and they pop out. Dont bother un doing the torsion bars just jack up the wheel and jam something suitable (think i used a socket) between the arm and the bump stop.

Thanks for your help so far. Will i need to undo the axle nut and pull that part of the axle out, in order to get the top spline out

na just jam up the torsions and un do the bottom arm/joint un do the hangers and pull them out, does that make any sense? im sure it will make more sense when you are doing it.

man the bolts by the side diff mounts are stiff...

Which is exactly what i was doing so that helped. Just tested it out, Its a big difference going from open open to lokka/lsd :)
