escudo injector to carby , fuel pressure ?

Hi guys wondering if anyone can help here .
I have recently swapped a 89 , 8 value injector motor into a 1992 , 16 value escudo .
Have got everything fitting alright , but the wiring for the injectors is all different .
A mate said would have to swap all the dash eletrics/ computer etc . Which is way beyond me .
Was wondering if I can put an ordinary carby on to keep it simple .
If so would I have to get the mainifold as well or will a carby bolt on to exsiting mainifold .
Ant help or ideas apprecated .

Ive got a manifold here you can have. Not sure if it will fit or do the job but its free.

Looks like a carby manifold. No carb though.

just thinking about the manifold and I think it came off an 8 vavle engine so may not fit the 16 valve head.

The manifold I want is for the 8 value motor , does youre one have 2 holes for the carbertor on top or just 1 big one .

The injector manifold I have , has just one hole for the petrol to suck through...........but I think I need a 2 hole job....... hope that makes sence .


Was looking at 413 motor today and the mainfold looks the same .
and a mitisi carb fits the 413 .

Could swap if its any good to you .
or have I the 16 value motor with most bits ( just a big hole in the block )

you can have it. I dont need any parts (getting rid of my zuk).

I think it may be a TBI manifold (one big hole but cant re,member - will look later on). Just make a plate and fit the mitsy carb or SU.

I was also told I might need to cut down the pressure from the
fuel pump or might blow the carby to bits , does anyone know the best way to do this ?
