I have always has low oil pressure according to my factory gauge and tonight I decided to check it out. I hooked up a aftermarket gauge and couldn't get any reading so removed it and put the terminals for the factory gauge back on.
I started the engine and the gauge was sitting right at the top which I thought was odd. I then re-seated the terminals and now I dont get any reading.
I'm thinking the sensor in the block is bung. My real question is can I pull out the sensor without having to remove all of my oil first?
Cheers
Blake

no you dont have to drain the oil, you will only loose whats in that gallery, maybe a drip or two
also make sure the terminal is in good condition
