Hilux nearly stolen 21/09/09

Post by Xr246 »

Woke up on the 22nd to find the door on my hilux open. Someone had removed the little window on the drivers side and opened the door.

Spent there time removing all the interior carefully all bolts left on the floor and panels on the passenger seat. Started to hack at the steering lock and ignition. Must of been disturbed by someone as they were so close to getting it.

Would of had no insurance as no wof or reg atm waiting on cert

Truck was up my driveway in a new sub division

Just a warning for everyone be careful where you park your truck as there is always some low life who wants its more than you!

Mine is insured regardless, as long as it's not driven with no wof and involved in an accident (although if I'm on the way to get repaired, or a wof, I am covered)

What dave said they cant decline a claim just cos youve got no wof or reg unless specifically stated in your policy of course

I thought that all insurance companys require a current w.o.f and reg or the claim will be declined.
