Diff head gasket

I need a new front diffhead gasket for my 80 series and genuine Toyota is ex japan xx amount of weeks away - where else I can source one?

I had gasket paper suggested to me - effective? Playing with fire?

Just get some gasket in a tube from supercheap/repco. Red stuff should be an American made product not sure of brandname

loctite 260? is what i use

For some reason I thought gorilla snot was a bad idea, either that or considered it 'cheating'..

I'm sure I've got some goo lying around somewhere..

loctite flange sealant is brilliant

I've been sitting in this seat for hours, casually looked over a couple of minutes ago to find a tube Loctite 518 Flange Sealant

Yup, well kinda - it's a laptop and may as well be attached at the hip, wireless network is brilliant :D

Or I could say no, I keep flange sealant on my bed side cabinet :shock: :mrgreen:
