Diff head gasket

I need a new front diffhead gasket for my 80 series and genuine Toyota is ex japan xx amount of weeks away - where else I can source one?

I had gasket paper suggested to me - effective? Playing with fire?

Just get some gasket in a tube from supercheap/repco. Red stuff should be an American made product not sure of brandname

For some reason I thought gorilla snot was a bad idea, either that or considered it 'cheating'..

I'm sure I've got some goo lying around somewhere..

I've been sitting in this seat for hours, casually looked over a couple of minutes ago to find a tube Loctite 518 Flange Sealant

Yup, well kinda - it's a laptop and may as well be attached at the hip, wireless network is brilliant

Or I could say no, I keep flange sealant on my bed side cabinet :shock:
