Peeled donor body off and fitted it to the new rig. Made front end fully removable (like the old mutt) and started making up new brake lines.
Things have gone quite good on this build, it was only 2.5 months ago that I only had 2 bare chassis rails in the garage. Woohoo.
Ugly is a state of mind..... and the state of my truck!

How long are the shackles that you have fitted ??

Finished fitting spare set of leaves to the front of the cruiser along with new greasable shackles and nolethane bushes that arrived the other day.

The old shackles and bushes were stuffed, I had to persuade them out with a 10lbs sledge, angle grinder and big drill bit! I only planned to fit the better springs because the old ones are so sagged but then I found how bung the shackles were I couldn't bare to put them back in!! :o

Nothing like fitting new galved shackles, greasing everything and nice new nolethane bushes 8)

I was amazed to find it had raised it 4 inches!! Looks a bit silly since I haven't done the back yet

Towed the half and anglia to the Vintage Car Parts Shed, they were eyeing bits up before it got off the trailer, but they were very pleased to see it.

Got the exhaust in after many swear words and effort. Should have taken it to magoos lol

Got the passengeres side of the front bar done and half grinded before it got too late, ill sort the other one in the next few day hopefully....

Lots done to the truck on the weekend, most of which you cant see, but all good.
