CHECK YOUR POLICY!!!

if its not stated that you must lock it in a garage every night then they have to pay out, plain and simple, thats what you pay insurance for isnt it?? if something gets flogged off your car when its parked in town what then? or if your visiting a mate and something happens what then?? dont let them run you over mate.
If you already know everything, DON'T ask bloody questions!!

The only exception to the above is, If it's NOT garaged, it must be locked at all times it's not in use.

But the Wopwop is dead right, stand your ground and DON'T let the bastards ride roughshod over you. They are pretty slick at taking your money, they can be just as slick at paying out too!

Safari broken into once and high lift stolen. Terrano, broken into twice, highlift stolen again and whole truck stolen once. All times parked on road. All times insurance paid out. AMI

paid out as contents, not fixture of truck.
all companies look at claims different, some times the bad press
overrides the pay out cost. never take no for an answer the first time as that
makes there job a whole heap easier. get it in written form then read your policy,
if unsure seen some advise.
