What bad things have you heard about maxitrac springs? I've got them front and rear in my surf and they seem to have been ok the last two years. Nice and flexy now, only problem with mine is the drivers side is slightly lower although i do a lot of solo driving and i'm a 150kg bastard

I've got no complaints about my EFS liftkit in my Hilux although its probably almost double the cost of Maxitrac,
EFS has a 3 year warranty and is all Australian made.
OME leaf springs are Taiwanese now

same as many things for a bolt in product the more you spend the better it will be. Maxitrac are cheap and do the job with no major issues, they are pretty hard but you can always swap a few springs around or get rid of the load leaves.
Never argue with an idiot, they drag you down to their level then beat you with experiance!
Re: 50mm lift double cab lux
thanks guys,
just read that they dont sit evenly.
would it be better to get the standard leaves reset?
more expensive?

Re: 50mm lift double cab lux
getting the leaves in my surf reset was more expensive than getting a set of 50mm maxitrac leaves. although when i bought them i asked repco for a trade discount and they said yep.
Re: 50mm lift double cab lux
how much was it for a full set for you lux?
Re: 50mm lift double cab lux
$500 for the set of leaf springs . think retail is about $800. i went to repco in pukekohe and said my mate could get me a trade discount and the dude said dont worry il hook you up anyway. dunno if they just wanted to make a sale or if he was just a good fulla
the quote i got just to reset the standard springs was $550

Re: 50mm lift double cab lux
500 for all 4?
Re: 50mm lift double cab lux
yep sure was. all 4
Re: 50mm lift double cab lux
i got quoted 800 on trade

Re: 50mm lift double cab lux
for real? that sux, i must have just got the right fulla on the right day
