A workmate is looking at a LWB Safari (pretty sure he said Safari), but has never owned a 4wd, or V8.
Would a 350 go well in a vehicle that size? He said something about a 400(?) carby has just been fitted. Are there any issues to look out for with these motors?
Are they thirsty and can they easily be fuel injected? (is it worth doing?)
Cheers
Who runs a 350 Chev?

I wouldnt touch a carbed chev with a 50 foot pole. Dirty, unreliable, uneconomical and bad for 4wding are some phrases which come to mind

Re: Who runs a 350 Chev?
400's can have probs with cooling, and due to using the 350 block and being bored out, they'd have a one possibly two goes at being rebored... just a thought for longevity.. otherwise a chev is mean if ya keep em cool and especially if ya got a 40... lol... aye wop?
p.s.. my votes for the 350...
