Had the Lux out for a little drive yesterday but the Auto wont change gears and the engine goes into Limp mode. Never posted you tube vids before so how do you get them so the actual vid is posted on the page and not just the link.?

bought a real truck!! :D

cruised down to auckland and met up with Heath, nice to meet up with yet another ORE member  Left with Heaths old Zook and more frigging parts than i have room to store!,
We left Heaths place loaded to the gunnels .. prob waaaaaay over legal weight for a Mazda Proceed, looooonnnggg slow trip home, lol down to 1st gear going over some of the hills, finally got home and unloaded the Beast, fired it up and took it for a quick strop around the tanker track ... farkme the thing can move, will be even faster when I get an exhaust on her (next weekends job) got the bonnet pins in though ... Mrs wasnt aware the bonnet wasnt secure and took it for a drive ... LOL I thought it was funny when the bonnet flicked up and blinded her .. she didnt for some reason.

Glad you guys got back up there okay.

Was a little sad to see it go (hate giving up on a project) but I wasnt going to be able to enjoy it so was good someone else is going to. Glad it went well, only drive I have had of it was up the drive and on to the trailer (before was just in and out of the garage which dont count).

Still onward and upward.

Finally cleaned the windows on the prado. Used a cutting polish and a scouring pad thingee and a shite load of elbow grease (2 hours worth). Nothing and I mean nothing else was moving the marks (and I tried everything and spent hours). All gleaming now though - CRYSTAL CLEAR!
Lot of work for 5 bloody windows though (and the mirrors too).
