Post by crizpy »

Hey All
Would be very greatful for anyone willing to help towards getting truck up and running again ..

will have beer and bbq .. and pizza later on

Saturday 17th october (this sat) 10am

Things to be done

Replace Motor
Inspect gearbox for Leak

Remove body blocks Off wreck and fit into other cruiser to free up room in engine bay for wireing and clear room for exhaust

I have someone Re-working The Loom and will join us sat to help tidy the wireing.

Yep I can do Saturday Chris, pm me the address please

If you've got an oil leak in the gearbox to fix you might be wanting to get that sorted before you stick the new motor back in?

Have you got and engine hoist and all that stuff to lift the engine out?

I can see one out my window

cant make it saturday as will be shifting batteries all bloody day

but if ya need a hoist, then convince sadam to take his truck and I'll give him a hand to lift the hoist on his truck

just check with Sig first if ya need it and it will need to go back to Stokes Valley afterwards

PM me your address to, incase I finish early and I may be able to supply a fair amount of cheap sausages

Heya Im picking up a crane up on friday ...
Im not sure if i have some kind of chain around yet .. I dont think the motor has a lifting hook...

the leak seems to be from front area of gearbox should be visable with motor out and bellhousing cover off and I guess we will have to assess if i need parts
