PTO air comp?

Post by motorhead »

Can someone please tell how a PTO winch works? Transfer case in neutral, and engage clutch? Trying to see if I can build a garage type air compressor cylinder same as a PTO winch. Will put tank in truck. Has this been done? Am I just spinning my wheels or is this good?

Thanks

Have to agree, and I'd prefer something that will top up tanks while driving, rather than having to sit and wait (although it would probably be quick anyway).
