So
The main plan is:
- Fit full floater diff (**done)
Power steering
Shackel reversal (**having second thoughts due to comments by Beercruise, Sadam et.al. "why not do coils". buggers!!)
Rust coat tub (**done)
Sort out wee bits of panel (**done - almost)
Forward facing rear seats
Bigger tyres
Snorkel(s)
PTO winch (** added due to recent purchase)
GET DIRTY!!
Full floater diff install
Started in March 2009 with the installation of a full floater diff (stripped out of a doner along with power steering pump etc). A HUGE thanks to those who helped out during the working bee.

Oh yes.. we did have some beer!
Tub cleanup
Looking at options for covering the rear tray as per pic. POR15 was suggested as the best option along with a topping off with Hippo Liner. Started as tray but got a little out of hand and ended up doing inside of the tub.
Prods being used
Cleaned up
Metal ready done and dried
first coat POR15 on (did not know it came in different colours)
2nd coat.. looks soooo pretty in silver

User 2 tins of POR15 in the end
Hippoliner all done (ran out before I got to the gearbox cowling)
Stripped out seat frame (Taz01 cut and welded it for me giving me some more space for batteries under the passenger seat) and removed fuel tank. I remembered I had to work out why the fuel gauge was not working anyway...
While the seat frame was out stripped and repainted it.
Problematic gearbox cover - needs replacement
