IT LIVES

IT LIVES

THE SUBMARINE IS ALIVE

WOOOOOO HOOOOOO

funny thing is, I was standing on the bank of the river looking at the hole it sank in this morning and then 3 hours later when I'm back at home I get a phone call and it sounds like a tractor so I hang up thinking my mate has accidentally pushed a button whilst phone is on pocket, but then he rings back and tells me to shuddup and listen and hes starts it up again

fukn aye

will be getting it home soon to finish off the little bits and pieces like lights etc etc

oh yeah, gotta install a snorkel as well

and water crossings can go fuk themselves

what a fukn hassle it can cause and the expences you never even thought of

Thanks again to everyone whol helped and contributed in any way shape or form

and a massive public thanks to my mate Phil Baylis for taking in a homeless, dead, stray cruiser and making it better again :D :D

Next time i head to welly i think i should bring my 7mm08 and you should show me where to shoot the deer/pigs and wet dogs.

And we should take your truck to keep mine smelling fresh.

4 hours drive based on Google
http://maps.google.co.nz/maps?f=q&source=s_q&hl=en&geocode=&q=hastings+to+wellington&sll=-41.244772,172.617188&sspn=37.093033,79.013672&ie=UTF8&z=8

I would give 3.5 hours depending on how you drive.

after 4 days in the bush, I drove up the drive and there she was, sitting there looking all sad with missing bits etc

my mate Phil has done an awesome job so far and now its up to me to piece it back together, look for bits that went missing when the boys removed the motor and try to find out why it still smells like dead pigs/deer/dogs after countless hours of scrubbing

may check tomorrow to see if alternator is charging, but to be honest I'm too scared after all the other shit that has gone wrong since we started

oh well, onwards and upwards :D :D
