Air compressors

Post by Hombrey »

Guys thinking about buying a compressor for the shed. Spotted 3hp Euro ones on trade me and they seem to pack some good power for the price. Anyone got one of these? How good are they?

We bought one a couple of years ago, the V twin 15cfm type. Lets just say they are "good" but for the long haul/commercial use then "no good" Ours got used about 1 hour a day in the assembly area and lasted 12 months and 7 days then blew the head... Saying that parts weren't that bad to get a hold of ;)

We've got a Euro here, I don't think it delivers the stated 15CFM capacity but its still going after 3 years and a capacitor change last week.
1 air tool going continuously will see the compressor going continuously as well.
