Yea there pretty choice, -50 offset so they hang out the guards a bit  I don't personally like 16's because the tyres are always a bit more expensive as 15's are so much more common but didn't have a choice as I have the big brakes on the 80

Swapped the passenger door I smashed up in the Reefton Challenge with a better one, best part of the truck, had to swap all the internals over. Panel beated the guard while I had it off. Now just gotta do the driver's side as well.

Let see, swapped out both front discs, very rusted, replaced idler arm and both shocks.Took me over 2 hrs to swap out the driver side disc  , couldn't figure out how to get the snap ring back on because the groove was recessed back into the auto hub. Tried putting it into 4x4, no go :? . Read posts that I thought might help but nothing :( . Sat down looking at the situation while drinking a beer and then it hit me  , grab the axle and pull , Pass side took me 30 min including the idler arm. Pass side auto hub was in 4 pieces, 3x4 :?:

Changed out the manual trans fluid, when I pulled the fill plug first to make sure I could fill it before drainining, fluid drained out for about 3-4 min :? . Fluid looked old but no sign of water. How do you over fill a trans :?: Refilled with ATF and now the syncros are sweet. :D

Rebuilt the gear side of my new(used) Warn 9500, totally solid, wished I had a solvent tank :( . After everything freed and well greased, looked at the motor side, anyone recommend a motor rebuilder in the area?

Time for more beer :D :D :D

Spent the weekend geting ready for the Taupo Winch challenge.

That pretty much involved putting some silicone tyre shine on the tyres, sticking some new stickers on the doors and giving it a rev

Image

Big thank you to everyone that helped out to make it happen, and especially Sarah for driving to Palmy and back in 1 day :D :D

Stickers look awesome, and work really well, especially with the green back ground, it really make's them stand out

It's kinda like putting a "Type R" sticker on a Integra
