ORE good publicity ideas?

Bumper stickers are cool but.

I'm sure someone else has asked this question before in the time that this site has been around. But recent developments round here compels me to start this thread.

Surely we can do more to get this site in peoples faces?

Mike and his crew do a bloody good job on here to keep things running. I'd like more people to jump on board to expand a good thing and support Mike n his crews effort.

Anyone have anymore ideas how we can freely publicly get more GOOD ORE exposure out there??

Just coz this place is the best place in NZ for hooking up with other 4X4 enthusiast. And so much more..

Maybe get ya local sign writer to make one in the size you want? After all its only lettering

as a wild suggestion what about entering the demolition derbies that are held around the country as the offroadexpress.co.nz team. different guys from different parts of the country could do it. just a wild thought i know.

Open to suggestions... I was thinking of having below the "ORE" something like "NZ's largest and best 4wd Community or forum" or something like that....

Please be aware ... Mike will need to approve any changes to the design as its his branding....

Also if there are suitable sticker sizes that suit people?

Someone needs to draw up a nice little PDF of a nice little flier that we can print out and cut up. Two fliers per A4 sheet.

Then- If you see a sweet 4wd covered in mud of decked out in ARB shit you can tuck one under his windscreen.

Also keep on it a space for your forum name so when they have joined up they know who invited them.

This scheme worked VERY well with another club i was member of and it was quite neat seeing people pop up onto the forums citing your invite as the reason.

Without digging too much on what your all doing and saying but wasnt this covered ad nauseum a while back when some one a little less reponsible got in to trouble and the media jumped on it?

I dont recall specifics but I think an ORE sticker was refered too and a comment made about organising reckless endeavours online.

I have had a bad day. Dont take this the wrong way. Your enthusiam to push the brand physically is great. But it cant be strictly controlled once its in the public domain.

Im all for ORE publishing vids and commentry re: 4wding. Facepage and Youpube are great. They can be manipulated.

I also think that reputable people can leverage off thier own prowess too (thats you Pete). But not people of ill repute. Celebrity endorsement if you like.

Im only saying this because I genuinely care. I have deleted and re-typed this post a few times thinking 'I dont need to say this, its not in my best interest'. But a lot of things arnt. I do this for a living (in between other shit) and am confident in what I've said.
