Wanted 16.5 rims x4

have acquired set of 36 swampers but are 16.5 so in need of 4x rims prefer steel but if i have to alloy ok must be 6 stud
or can i fit em to standard 16 inch maybe weld rod steel on top of bead??????

16.5 are not that common .the chevy ambulances were 16.5 ,but i think they were 8 stud .The TRUK runs 16.5 but has its own stud pattern

16.5" wheels and tires are a real american thing. Hummers, IIRC are 16.5" and are farking awesome. I remember wishing 16.5" tires were common just so i could get hummer wheels. In america they are cheap and common as bird shit. I think the army must chuck out shitloads of them. They (the only hummer wheels you should be interested in) are split into two pieces and have an internal bead lock. You change tires by unbolting the wheel halfs- putting them into the tire from each side and then tightening the bolts to hold the halfs together.

It's going to take you forever to find some 16.5" rims you should have got the ones that were on the swampers. So you'll have to be patient i have seen em pop up from time to time on trademe. no one really wants them because there a strange size. there was a real nice dark grey 80 series rolling around wellys with 16.5's and big feet on it, but they were alloys and I have no idea where it went.

Be patient.....or buy the rims the dude had them on

im in no hurry for rims yet........the rims the dude had were 10.5 wide alloys and way to bling for me i prefer 7,8 inch wide less chance of popping the bead

I had to get 16.5 for my swampers, and just lucked out that one of our southland bros had 2 sets for sale.
A lot of BFG MT tyres that were imported from the states were 16.5", so they are around but rare as RH shit!

Get some rims made.
