Colyton this weekend. whats happening?!?

Post by chevrolux »

So my bosses brother has a farm out Colyton way that is hosting 4x4 trials this weekend by the sounds of it. Do people know about this? I have heard of some serious sounding trucks going out there but cant find any info. can someone point me in the right direction?

Was a really good day and rapt that the rain held off (will almost until the pour down at the end).

We were having a really good day (apart from rolling and a couple of stuff ups) until at the end of our 2nd to last course when there was a big bang.

Thought we had broken then driveshaft or CV until we looked underneath and found this

Image

The driveshaft was still intact unfortunaetly the front part of the transfer case wasn't attached to the rest of the transfer case and neither were all the cogs etc on the ground.

OH Crap!!!

though I did see ya using some new techniques down the far end, wheel to wheel roll and then continue on thru the Hazard (pity ya didn't complete it, that WOULD have been cool!!!)

Would love to say that half way through we changed our mind on the top line so found the quickest way down to the bottom line but we stuffed up. Weren't sure what the rules were so figured would just keep going. Turned out we were scored back to were we rolled
