Watched Taupo Winch challenge on Saturday. Then went on a club run today with Hawkes Bay club, off the Napier - Taupo road and managed to loose the snorkel hat and pull the snorkel out a few cm. Great trip tho.

Shame about the conversion to a safari Kev, all your surf needed was a solid axle
We spent the weekend in westport Richard but were the only Toyota there, except for Flag and all I can say is some very heavy Nissans stuck everywhere, will be definately sticking to the hilux

Yeap, was good fun. Had no idea what it was called but one of the fellas from Rotorua club told me it was on so i just went down for a play. Not real challenging when you've got diff locks but there's a few hairy bits. And yea there was a gate where we came in. Great bunch of guys in that Hawkes Bay club, had a ball.

I only had it a couple of weeks, and only put about 70km on it. It drove well, and the guy who bought it was a panel beater I think, so was going to cut out the small rust patches.
Anyway, it's a Safari, you can't go wrong
