Spade holder....??
Spade holder....??
Am after a spade holder of some sort to attach to the rear spare wheel mount. Any ideas where I might find one? Cheers...

Re: Spade holder....??
a while back Craig at genie 4x4 was doing these clampit thingies

it seems he no longer does these kinds of things, but if ya flick him an email or something he may still do them or know where to get them
I won some from 4x4 action a while back, bloody awesome little things they were

Yep I use those to hold the axe on the bonnett. Not sure what you 80's guys have on the back, but my spade and mattock sit on the ladder on the small barn door and the ropes and highlift on a custom made bracket that attachs to the spare on the big barn door.

Clampits are great for holding things flat but will not hold a spade vertically on a rear door.

I've got a mount from one of those up right ski racks I'm going to use. Needs a bit of modding but considering it was free it should work out cheap as chips.
