Your gearbox mount, if you have to pull the box do you remove the exhaust or pull the body or does it unbolt away from the chassis?

Keep up the good work

Jdub: It will be both. I will fit some quick release catches to the f/glass canopy and the exo cage will be sorted so that the canopy can fit inside it.

Steve:Yep, you have to drop the exhaust. It has joins either side of the muffler so it is a fairly easy exersize.

Not a lot of extra strength in a high pinion verses a 4 pinion. Most people use a HP unit to get the drive shaft angle sorted, my front drive shaft is longer than the rear one with the duals, and adapted holden auto, so drive line angle is not an issue. on top of that, I will still run CV joints in both drive shafts.
I also like to have the drive shafts as the fuse in the drive line (ie weakest point) as they are very easy to fix on the trail.
Apart from that, if it was higher I think there would be interference issues with the top link and drivers side manifold.

Love it. Mine replaced a 6m which replaced 2 5m's :P

Never had it road legal with the 304 though as the last suspension setup would only let it do 50kph ( and it was getting pretty out of control at that as well  ). So I am looking forward to having a multi that I can take on the road.

Your build looks primo grunta, been following it from the start so far :P
I've used a prado pitman arm on my steering box which does away with the need for the IFS adaptor as the prado arm takes a std 80series ball joint fits straight on to the IFS box, although I used 70 series box, ya probs already know as i'm aware you're a big reader, I thought i'd post it just in case, look forward to seeing it in action
