well ive done a few things this week but i thought id wait untill now to post them up, i have lifted the gearbox up 40mm which invlolved beating the gbox tunnel in about 10mm and thats about it, made and mounted the motor mounts and started the turbo manifolds.
new gearbox spacer
this is the first attempt, i tried 60mm to start with which was waaaay too much, i dont know what i was thinking when i measured it.

here i cut 20mm out of it

heres the left hand side, it shows how much room i have to put the shifter rod

and this is the part i beat in a bit for the trasfer case

the right hand side of the motor

here the alternator clears the chassis by about 15mm and when the motor tourques up it will lift up and away so that gap is all good

this was how close the a/c pump was but i have put a 10mm peice of plate to space the box across

so here it is sitting in there all nice and ready for mounts

right hand side mount nearly done and tacked up

all ready to go

left hand engine mount

left engine mount all bolted on

right engine mount bolted on
so here is the engine all mounted and ready to rock

here is the throttle, all i had to do to make the existing cable work was turn the braket around and cut a bit out for that pipe, all the leverage is the correct amount so that makes it easy

here is the exhaust and turbo flanges all cut out ready to be put together

all welded

so now tthe right hand side is all welded ive gotta wrape it all up tight in heat wrap stuff to keep the heat out.
