
over 2000 rpm it's not as noticeable, at idle it's not there either .. 1200-1400 and it very loud
could it be cam tensioner?? or is the front cam bearing packing up?

Heath wrote:As per PM, check the tensioner, just incase this has vibrated loose. Check timing marks while you are there to make sure the belt hasnt jumped a notch if it is loose.

Do you have a spare plastic timing gear cover? it may be that the cover is warped.
