Whistling Doors

Post by joeninetynz »

It doesn't bother me much in the city, but a recent long drive down the line, drove the nail in.

94 SWB Vit- the gap between door and frame start to whistle around 100km. Its worst on a windy day and trucks drive by.

Was thinking of running down to Pararubber and buying some rubber adhesive strips to slap on the frame.

Just wondering what people are doing to sort it out?

Thanks suzookyman.

I'll try the rubber strips first and if no joy, the knee the next.

the knee trick works mint it how a panel beater would do it(when u aint looking) or a piece of 4by2 timber in by the latch and lean on the frame but wind the window down first bends easier
