Hi,
Son and I went "had a go" for a couple of hours. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience. First time off road since buying our 1992 LWB Safari 4.2 petrol FI auto 6 weeks ago. The "hill" proved easy pickings in the morning in low ratio 2nd gear full tyre pressure but beat us twice in the afternoon. I'd be interested to know how others with A/T tyres in unmodified 4WD's went - what ratio and gear got you to the top?
Thanks to the volunteers and NZWD magazine and ARC for putting on a great day.

Cheers Herd :)
