Yo

Post by Cleary »

Oops - been a member for a few weeks now and finally sorted out the protocol (after p*ssing skid off).

I'm in Welly - been 4WD'ing for a few years now (like 20).

Have owned 2 FJ40's (including a '69 with the F motor and 3 spd) :P :P , LJ50 :? , Series 3 landy (yep afraid so)  , a samurai, and a couple of trials trucks (C class about 10 years ago) and just got back into E class in a coil sammy with SR20DET and front drive auto (no transfer case). Lovin' the E class - just gotta learn how to drive it   .

Cheers

Nope - still waiting to hear the outcome of my appeal. The way I read the rules (if you strip out the extra words - which you can do because they are all "or" options) is: "The wheel cavity (defined as...)... may be... enlarged... for tyre clearance only... up to the height of the lower edge of the original bonnet." To me enlarged means you can cut out and replace panels to create a larger cavity.

Oh - and my tyres still rub...

Anyway - thats how I see it, but I will wait to hear what they say.
