Price of 32" mtr's?

Post by turoa »

Hi, Ive got a set of brand new MTR's sitting around at home for my trials buggy that came with it but im looking to go back so a set of 31's, but i cant really find any pricings for the 32x11.5x15. I know 4wdbits had them listed for around $400ea but i never thought that was quite right and they aren't listed anymore.

So i was wondering if anyone could tell me the value? they have been mounted to rims and used to roll around on but have never been driven on.

Cheers

No thanks mate, by my reckoning, a new set of tyres are worth a little more than that.

Not sure on the 32's, but I paid $250ea last year for 33" MTR's, but prices vary wildly depending on where you buy

Sounds about right - I paid $270 ea for 33" MTR's earlier this year.

I'm guessing that 32's won't be much cheaper, cos they are not as popular - even tho there is less to them.

the 32's are much more expendy as they are nearly a standard size replacement for the cruisers and safaris etc or an ideal size increase with no mods to most other medium size vehicles. the 285/75/16 which is basicly the same are $350 each from memory.

edit:

just got a message back and aparentky they gone up again

$419 inc gst and fitting i can get them for :? might replace my ones with 33's!!

As for selling them I would say they should be priced about the same as a set of 33's. Back when i had 32 mtrs on my first surf (came with the truck) I tried to price up a spare the same and it was about 100 more expensive than the 33mtr at the time.

I have a new set of kl71's in 33's that i was going to use as my road tyres but they are a bit small and just taking up space, I would say I'd get about 800 for them and I would be thinking yours are worth about the same.

so to answer ya question tu's

stick them on tardme for a ridiculous reserve and see how the bidding goes

then decide how cheaply ya want to let them go for

theres always someone who can get them cheaper than the rest, bla bla bla

I remember a trialist getting the 35" MTRs for $180 each to fellow competitors
