Taieri Rd, Waitawheta

Post by shiney »

Looked at an old post of a track in this area. Can someone give me an update on this as about 9 of us from Nelson 4wd club are planning to come up for Easter 2010 and this track looked interesting. My truck is probably the baby of the group being a Cherokee with 4.5" lift, simex, warn winch, front locker and a tight LSD.

I see that the boys from Manukau 4wd took 12 to 24hrs a couple of Fridays ago - that is - those that only took 12 hours had to wait in the car park for the rest to get through - Chev Blazers are a bit too big for that track

hell that is nearly an average of 1kmh

You will enjoy the drive. Best track I have ever done.
