Re: Maxi trac Leafsprings and Shocks
yip I have had maxitrack spings in various trucks and have friends that run them as well, they are good for the price, as with anything you can get better but will pay the price, They are pretty firm but are well worth it if you are looking for a bolt in upgrade to get the height you require.
(you can always mix and match some springs from the pack at a later date)

Never argue with an idiot, they drag you down to their level then beat you with experiance!

Got my kit from Dace in palmy. Easy as to bolt in and definately ALOT firmer than what was on it. Havent been offroad since they were put on though

biggest problem is that the drivers side will say and sit lower than the passengers side but then springs 3 times the price to the same thing.

Mine didn't, Maxitrac have passenger side and driver side marked on em,i guess the drivers would be a little heavier

how long have you had them in? I am well aware of the pd ds markings but still always see them sag

Re: Maxi trac Leafsprings and Shocks
mine sits crooked too. they are still brand new though and probably hasnt all settle down. I thought it was just what happens as heaps of other trucks have the same problem

Re: Maxi trac Leafsprings and Shocks
i have the other way with mine being that the passenger side sits lower than driver side, even when im sitting in it. but it sounds rather common that they are lopsided. doesnt sound like its worth worrying about? if it happens so often

Re: Maxi trac Leafsprings and Shocks
Can anyone confirn whether the extra stiffness of these springs make it hopeless on the really bumpy stuff, ie: bounce over things instead of using suspension travel?
