Hey guys I have a 3.9l v8 land rover motor in my hilux and need some more cooling,Does anyone know what thread the oil filter is on.I want to put a oil cooler on

I did work it out a while ago but can't remember what it was. But the best bet is to get the lines from a transmission cooler for the same engine, they plug straight into it. there should be a few of those around. I got the whole transmission cooler (now oil cooler) and lines for $50 bucks from hoskins in chch. the extension lines cost me a bomb though (my dads fault!)

Is it Ok to use a trans cooler for the engine oil? Would be keen to do this if its not just for those dodgey Rover things :wink: :lol:
