yeap, we are going to put a different map sensor in it, i dont know the full details of it because i kinda got lost when talking to the dyno guy haha but when its done its going to the auto sparkeys to get most of it done then up the the dyno guy to get a few computer related things wired then dynoed

Good to hear. Some people choose to use an aftermarket ECU like a Link system. (as the people that did the repower to mine tried to talk me into) I can see the advantage, no need for a GM hardware/software package to alter the fuel mapping.
But with the amount of research n development done to the Delphi system, it's a solid and reliable system. Why change it.
I like to hear you're getting a qualified auto sparky to finish off the wiring. That's what should have happened to mine. But the dickheads that installed mine tried to do it themselves.

I know one fella that camed n supercharged his LS2. Had around 700kW at the flywheel n lunched two autos. Purely because the computer in the motor n the computer n the auto battled with each other.
How he got round the problem was, he went to a manual box.

I didn't go with link (or Dicksmith system) coz at the time I was told they weren't that great. But that was 3 years ago. I'm sure they have improved since then.

i was thinking about putting a manual in it but 1. it wasnt manual already so i had to put all the clutch shit in it, 2. the ls1 manual are pretty expensive and 3. it was built as a tow car and auto are heaps better for that

I was thinking the same. But more to learn how to do this stuff.
For a young fella attempting this is bloody good to say the least.
By the time he gets to "old bugga" stage (or before) he should be earning good coin.
Keep up the good work bananas

it will have double the horsepower of the audi but not the tourque, the audi nearly has 800nm of touque so i duno, it should be a good race but the audi would probably pull away with a heavy tralier on
