Nah bugger the Hilux diff, you use a leaf sprung MK/MQ diff, its all on the correct side then.

Re: has anyone sas a terrano yet?
When I looked into it (before I rolled it), I found the only diff on that side was dana. Problem with them would be access to spare parts at resonable price. With Nissan diffs you have to cut, or flip the pumkin to the other side. I got on to a guy in Oz who had done it, he used toyota bundera coils and springs. If I had the cash I would look into buying a terrano again and doing it, setting it up as a general club truck, everyday runner, keep the safari for more harder type shit and comps.

Some photo's of one in progress but it is getting a complete new drivetrain so maybe a bit more work than you are thinking about!!!
Who said you can't get 35" Simex on a Terrano!

Nissan Terrano coilovers, turboed VH45, Safari axles, and some other stuff.
Re: has anyone sas a terrano yet?
now thats a terrano what running gear is that running i nnow u can get 39inch irok under one but no quite what i had planed i think with 33s and sased it will be quite capeable but we will see
Re: has anyone sas a terrano yet?
It is getting the full running gear that was in my GQ. So turboed VH45, GQ auto, transfer case, drive shafts and axles. It should end up around 1600kg and have about 400kw. 18" coilovers all round and a rear mounted hydraulic winch. Haven't decided if it will be fully road legal or not yet. I'm building it with that in mind but we'll see if it gets too hard. The engineer is pretty happy with what we've discussed so far so it looks good but.........
