if anything maybe just get a bigger exhaust put on from the turbo back and a nice free flowing intake ? on most turbos that will lift the boost by a pound or 2.

Adjust the wastegate rod (lengthen the rod, puts more pressure on the wastegate to stay shut to produce more boost) DON'T OVERDO!!! std boot is around 7PSI - can go to 9 -10PSI without exhaust job, intercooler fuel increase etc. But fit an EGT gauge also. More boost = more heat (which mitsys don't like at all!)

(Or for a cheap, quick, rough job- put 2 flat washers under each of the wastegate actuator bolts where it mounts onto the manifold)

Fit a boost control tap in the presure hose to waste gate actuator. Adjust it to dump presure to control when the gate will open. You will need a boost guage as well to set the valve. As said before, these engines are handgranades so be carefull :!: :!:

Again, thanks for the input :D . Will take it very easy and will raise boost slightly but only after a boost gauge is purchased  .

To all Those mitsi diesel haters, My Paj Runs 23psi and Revs to 6000rpm, adjusting the waste gate or washers under it is not correct as it jst limits the amount the waste gate can open therfore not allowing for boost spikes, adding an extra spring onto the wastegate does it nicely and is more acurate, mine neva goes above 23psi bt with just washers or adjustment on the arm it used to spike to 30psi (overboost valve is welded shut lol) a victa Lawnmower deck spring attached to the first bend in the arm gives about A 5-6psi boost in pressure, they are 9-10 standard form. mine handled 15psi for 70000k before i upped it to 23, with a half turn on the diesel screw and throttle stop limiter wound out she hums all day at 23psi and can redline in 5th on 33"s so not a bad motor then......oh and its a 2.3
