Hi there, welcome to the group. You will hear all sorts of crap about the pajero, most of it is urban myth and from those who have either never owned one or driven one. You will be pleasantly surpised at actually how good is is. Mind you I only own Zuks so what would I know

Welcome to ORE. Love mine, still doing mods as I can afford them. Haven't really put it through anything really hard yet(that's about to change) but it does the job. What year, long or short?

As said above. Probably one of the most under rated 4x4's for those who have never owned one. I always had Safaris and loved them and how you can drive them really hard all day long and not break stuff, but had always liked the look of the J Tops but was put off by the independent front end. Now that I have one I would never buy a Safari again. These are the best and my one has put many a tough truck to shame, you would not be disappointed. There are a lot of simple mods you can do to make them just that little bit better. The one thing you want to make sure you get is one with the factory rear diff lock as this does make a lot of difference.
