Post by haynzy »

well my hilux is no more sold to the man in the yellow hat and its now on its way down to the other mainland.
the up side is that I have my eye on a very nice 18ft bayliner with 4.3v6 merc in it
this one should handle deepwater much better

what sort a boating will you be doing?
i dont wana be telling anyone what to do or what to buy cause its each to their own, but generally bayliners are a lightweight boat, built in th U.S for lakes and criusing and looking good... they get a hideing in the NZ coastal conditions, unless its a center console model which seem to be built tougher cause they are a purpose built fishing boat, ide stay away from them.. pm me if you want
